Chartered Financial Planner / Client Manager
Your professional background (previous jobs, experience etc etc)
I am a Chartered Financial Planner and have been working in the financial planning profession since my graduation in 2014 from the University of Exeter. I started work as an assistant for a senior partner at St. James’s Place who gave me an invaluable introduction to the profession and it was here that I learnt the ropes of paraplanning and looking after clients’ wealth.
Specialist areas of interest and expertise
I particularly enjoy working with our clients on an ongoing basis to ensure their long-term financial wellbeing and to help them manage their finances through many of life’s milestones.
I have also developed an area of expertise in trusts and estate planning and I provide advice throughout the process when establishing these solutions for our clients. I find the blend of financial and legal knowledge required in this field very interesting and it is wonderful to see the long-lasting impact that such trust planning can have on multiple generations of a family.
Why did you join Buckingham Gate
I joined Buckingham Gate in 2016 when we became a team of just three. I was looking for a role that offered me a path to develop into a financial planner and when I was introduced to Buckingham Gate, the business was also near the start of its own journey of growth. The vision for the firm was inspiring and something that I knew I would love to be a part of – the journey since then has proven to be more rewarding than I could have hoped for and the team has flourished and only gone from strength to strength.
When not in work you like to?
Outside of work I love travelling, particularly in France, being in my garden and spending time with family and friends. I am also a keen cyclist, runner and swimmer and have enjoyed participating in a few sprint Triathlons with my husband.
An interesting fact about you?
I am half French and speak fluent French and Spanish, having studied it at university and living in Barcelona for a year.
